It is a pyramid. It says so on the tin.

PONCI is a pyramid on Robinhood Chain that tells you exactly what it is. Forty-five layers of bricks, sold in order, at a price that rises with every layer. Every brick pays the bricks that stood before it. A pot grows at the apex and is split when the clock stops. There is no owner, no pause button and no promise except the arithmetic, which is on chain and repeated here in plain words.

PONCI is a game about money that most people lose. Late bricks pay early bricks, that is the whole point and the name says so. Only put in what you are happy to leave in the wall. The contract cannot be changed, paused or refunded by anyone, including Ponci.

How it works, in one minute

A pyramid has 1035 bricks in 45 layers: layer 1 is one brick at the apex, layer 45 is forty-five bricks at the foot. Bricks are laid from the apex down, strictly in order. The first brick costs 0.002 ETH and every deeper layer costs 0.0001 ETH more, so the last layer costs 0.0064 ETH per brick. Ten bricks per wallet per pyramid.

When you buy, your ETH is split in the same transaction: 45% flows to the bricks already standing, 20% into the pot, 10% to whoever invited you, 10% to the bricks of older pyramids, 15% to Ponci. Bricks are ERC-721 tokens: you can hold, claim, sell or gild them.

A clock starts with the first brick: 24 hours. Every brick adds 90 seconds, never more than a day ahead. If the clock reaches zero, the pyramid collapses and the pot is split. If the 1035th brick is laid, the pyramid completes and the pot is split the same way. A day later the next pyramid opens, carrying part of the pot, and the closed bricks keep earning a tenth of every future sale, forever.

At the foot of the pyramid there is a stall with free pebbles. A pebble is a personal token, alive for a day, one per wallet: it earns a share of the flow in ETH, holds your invite link, has a ticket in the pot lottery, and can be turned into your first brick at 25% off.

Quick start

The free way

Open the pyramid page, connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain, tap the stall and take a pebble (gas only, about a cent). Copy your invite link from the pebble card and share it. Every brick bought through your link pays you 10% in ETH, on the spot. Come back tomorrow for a new pebble: one live pebble per wallet, and it fades after a day.

The brick way

Tap the wall. The card shows the next brick, its layer and position, the price and how many you may still buy. Choose one to ten bricks, paste an inviter if a friend sent you, buy. Your bricks light up gold on the wall. Tap any of them to see the flow they have gathered and to claim it.

Wallets and network

Any EOA wallet works (MetaMask, Rabby, OKX and friends). The page adds Robinhood Chain to your wallet when you connect. Contracts refuse other contracts: buying, minting and upgrading must come from a normal wallet.

Price of layer n is 0.002 + 0.0001 x (n - 1) ETH. A batch may cross a layer boundary; you pay each brick at its own layer price, the page shows the exact total. The last brick of every layer is the keystone: on its card Ponci himself lays it.

Where every wei goes

45%the flow
20%the pot
10%the invite
10%the dynasties
15%Ponci

All five parts are paid or booked inside the purchase transaction. Nothing sits in a treasury waiting for a decision. If there is no valid inviter, the invite share goes into the pot. If no older pyramid exists yet, the dynasty share goes into the pot. The very first brick of a pyramid has nobody standing before it, so its flow share goes into the pot too.

The flow

45% of every purchase is shared equally among the bricks already standing in the current pyramid (a batch never pays itself). Live pebbles take 5% of that flow as a class, the bricks take the rest. The flow is booked to your bricks instantly and waits for you: tap a brick and claim, or claim several at once from the wall. Claiming costs only gas.

What a brick earns depends on how many bricks follow it. If Pyramid I sells out, brick No. 1 (0.002 ETH) receives about 0.0100 ETH from the flow alone, five times its price. Brick No. 171 (layer 18) is the last that repays itself from the flow alone. Deeper bricks play for the pot, the lottery and the dynasties. This is a pyramid; the numbers are honest about it.

Selling a brick on a marketplace: the flow it gathered stays with the seller (it is settled at the transfer), the buyer starts collecting from the next sale.

The clock

The clock starts with the first brick of a pyramid at 24 hours. Every brick adds 90 seconds, but the clock is never set further than 24 hours ahead. When it reaches zero, anyone can call settle: the pyramid collapses in the state it stands, the pot is split and the settler is paid 1% of the pot for the trouble.

The clock can be bribed with COUPON: 100,000 COUPON per hour, at most six hours per rolling day, only while the clock is running. 75% of the bribe is burned, 25% goes to Ponci.

The pot

The pot collects 20% of every purchase plus the unclaimed shares described above. It is split on collapse (the clock stopped) or on completion (the 1035th brick), in the same way:

The capstone: the last wallet that bought a brick45%
The ten biggest wallets of this pyramid, by number of bricks, pro rata30%
One random live pebble5%
Whoever calls settle (on completion, the buyer of the last brick)1%
Carried into the pot of the next pyramid19%

Ties in the ten are held by whoever reached the count first. The pebble lottery is drawn from the pebbles minted today and yesterday, using the previous block hash: deliberately simple randomness for a 5% gift, not a market.

Pyramids and dynasties

After a pyramid closes, the dust settles for 24 hours. Then the next pyramid opens with the first purchase: same 45 layers, same prices, and 19% of the previous pot already inside. Bricks keep one running token number across pyramids (Pyramid II starts right after the last brick of Pyramid I, wherever it stopped) and carry the trait Pyramid I, II, III. Every card is numbered inside its own pyramid, 1 to 1035, so the apex of Pyramid II is always an apex card.

Every brick of a closed pyramid becomes a dynasty brick: 10% of every purchase in every future pyramid is shared equally among all dynasty bricks, forever. There are at most 45 pyramids.

Pebbles

Pebbles are the free door. Tap the stall and mint one: no price, only gas. A pebble is personal (it cannot be transferred), one live pebble per wallet, alive on the day it was minted and the next day. When it fades you simply take a new one; the old id is retired. Anyone can erase faded pebbles and receive 2,000 COUPON per pebble from the press; the erased pebble's unclaimed flow is credited to its owner.

While alive, a pebble does four things: it collects its share of the pebble flow (5% of the flow, split equally among live pebbles), it holds a ticket in the pot lottery (5% of the pot to one random live pebble at every close), it makes your invite link valid, and it can be upgraded into your first brick of the pyramid at 75% of the price (the pebble is burned, its flow paid out).

Invites

Your invite link is the pyramid page with your address after ?i=. Anyone who buys through it pays you 10% of the purchase in ETH, immediately, inside their transaction. A link is valid while you hold a live pebble or any brick. You cannot invite yourself. Without a valid inviter the share goes into the pot.

COUPON

COUPON is the coin of the press: 4,500,000,000 in total, fixed forever, no minter, no owner. 450,000,000 (10%) sit on a one-sided Uniswap V3 shelf from an opening value of 0.5 ETH for the whole supply, with no ceiling: buyers lift the price, the shelf turns into ETH inside the pool, and the pool position belongs to the dead address from its first second. Nobody can pull the liquidity, ever.

The other 4,050,000,000 (90%) are printed by the pyramid: the k-th brick ever sold prints 2,025,000 x 0.9995^(k-1) COUPON to its buyer. Pyramid I prints about 1.64 billion, Pyramid II about 0.98 billion, and so on. Fewer each brick, that is the point.

Gilding, names, bribes

SinkWhat it doesCost
Gild a brickThe brick's card gets a gold frame and the trait Gilded: yes500,000
CartoucheA name on the brick, 1 to 16 plain characters, shown on the card and in the metadata50,000
Bribe the clockOne extra hour on the clock, at most six per rolling day100,000 per hour

Every sink burns 75% and pays 25% to Ponci. Erasing faded pebbles pays 2,000 COUPON per pebble out of the press.

The art

Every brick is a chamber card printed by PONCI PRESS: a room inside the pyramid, a clerk of the pyramid in it, two spot inks that belong to the layer, midnight key ink, cream paper, misregistration and dot screens like a 1920s riso print. The room, the furniture and the resident come from the brick's seed, which depends only on the pyramid and the brick's place in it, so every card of a pyramid is printed before the pyramid opens and the page shows you the next brick before you buy it. Pebbles are stamps: 540 stones and marks.

Rules, money and traits live on chain: tokenURI is JSON built by the contract. Pixels live off chain (art on chain would cost more than the pyramid itself on this network): the metadata points to the image files of the site. The only key in the whole system is the address of those pictures, held by Ponci until it is frozen; it cannot touch a wei.

The honest list

Things that are true and that you should know before you touch anything:

Most bricks lose money.Only the first 171 bricks of a full pyramid repay themselves from the flow alone. The rest depend on the pot, the lottery and future pyramids, which may never come.
The clock can stop tomorrow. If nobody buys for a day the pyramid collapses where it stands and the pot is split among the last buyer, the ten and one pebble. Your bricks keep only what they gathered.
Nobody can help you.No owner, no admin, no pause, no upgrade, no refunds. A mistake in a transaction is final.
Ponci takes 15%.Of every brick, plus 25% of the sinks, plus 5% royalties on marketplaces that honour them.
COUPON can go to zero.It is a memecoin with a burned shelf and a press. It has no promise attached.
The pictures are off chain. If the site vanished, the metadata would still exist but the images would not, until the links are moved to a new home by the one key that exists for that.

FAQ

Is this a pyramid scheme?

It is a pyramid. It says so on the tin. Late bricks pay early bricks, in ETH, by rules you can read. The difference from the real thing is that nobody can lie to you about it.

Do I need COUPON to play?

No. Bricks and pebbles are bought with ETH and gas. COUPON is printed to you when you buy bricks; you need it only for gilding, names and bribing the clock.

Can I buy a specific brick?

No. Bricks are laid in order. The page shows the next one and its card before you buy.

What happens to my brick after the pyramid closes?

It keeps everything it gathered and becomes a dynasty brick: 10% of every purchase in every future pyramid is shared among all dynasty bricks.

Can I sell a brick?

Yes, on any marketplace that lists Robinhood Chain. The flow already gathered stays with you; the buyer collects from the next sale on.

Why does my pebble say faded?

Pebbles live for the day they were minted and the next. Take a new one at the stall; it is free.

Who settles a collapsed pyramid?

Anyone. The settler is paid 1% of the pot. The page shows the button when the clock is dead.
